Birthplace: Weldon, IA Resided In: Huntley, IL Virginia Ann (Hein) Stuvick, 78, of Huntley, Illinois formerly Villisca, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016. Virginia was born in Weldon, Iowa on November 1, 1937 the daughter of Henry and Louise (Hacker) Hein. She graduated from Villisca High School in 1956 and continued her education at the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. Virginia married Loren T. Stuvick on November 26, 1958. They were married for 57 years, and raised their family in Wheaton, Illinois. Virginia worked for many years as a legal and executive secretary for a variety of lawyers and businesses. She enjoyed scrapbooking, genealogy, tap dancing and German Club at Sun City in Huntley, Illinois. She was a devoted grandmother to her nine grandchildren and was known for her beautiful smile and kind heart. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Margaret Donahue and Jeanne Joseph; and her daughter: Susan B. Anderson. Virginia is survived by her husband: Loren; two daughters: Linda (Chris) Papanicholas of St. Charles, IL, and Janet (Mark) Barrera of Valdosta, GA; a son-in-law: Jeff Anderson of Foxborough, MA; nine grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kendall, Nicholas, Christopher, Chloe, Leia, Juliet, Sasha and Alexa; brother: Glenn (Elaine) Hein; sister-in-law: Karen Kraft; brother-in-law: Donald Stuvick; cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak, Iowa with Rev. Mary Hansen officiating. Burial will be in the Emerson, Iowa Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090. The family of Virginia Stuvick wishes to thank the Heartland Hospice group and all the nurses and caregivers at Autumn Leaves in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
