Birthplace: Corning, MO Resided In: Stanton, IA Tressa Delores "Tressie" Hart, age 81, of Stanton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak. Tressie was born November 24, 1933 in Corning, Missouri the daughter of Jesse and Rachel (Mannes) Patton. She was raised in Northwest, Missouri and was united in marriage to Ron Hart on February 27, 1958 in Nevada, Missouri. Over the years, they lived in Shenandoah, IA; Rockport and Nevada, MO; Auburn, NE; and Corpus Christi, TX before moving to Red Oak, IA in 1977. Tressie was a CNA in Nevada, Missouri and worked at Places Discount Store in Red Oak, Iowa. Ron and Tressie made Stanton, Iowa their home in recent years where Tressie was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Tressie was an excellent cook, loved reading, and was always willing to help others. In fact, she put others before herself, many times supporting disabled veterans. Ron and Tressie spent many years camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; infant twin sister: Bessie; sister: Hattie Chastain; and daughter-in-law: Sharon Hart. Survivors include her husband: Ron Hart of Stanton, IA; children: Gary Hart of Rogers, AR; Bob Hart of Red Oak, IA; and Angela McArdle of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Jesse Hart and wife Michelle of Rogers, AR; Justin Hart and wife Amanda of Rogers, AR; Chanelle Lewis and husband Ryan of Rogers, AR; Seth Hart of Atlantic, IA; Kyle Elwood of Atlantic, IA; Josh Bullington and wife Debbie of Red Oak, IA; Tiffany McArdle of Emerson, IA; Britany McArdle of Red Oak, IA; and Tia McArdle of Red Oak, IA; 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Marie Daugherty of Rockport, MO; Betty Kirk of Sidney, IA; Elsie Foster of Sidney, IA; Arley Patton and wife June of Wilber, NE; and Rosie McConnell and husband Dennis of Auburn, NE; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Nyman, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
