Timothy Leroy Helm, 63, of Red Oak, Iowa, peacefully passed away on January 12th, 2023, at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.

Tim was born May 24, 1959, in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Leroy and Marcia (Ross) Helm. He spent much of his young life traveling the United States with his closest friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bonfires and learning how to play his guitars. Tim worked numerous construction jobs throughout his adult life and was always known as the hardest worker until he finally decided to retire in 2018.

Tim is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Mills and significant other Brian of Red Oak, IA and Rachel Gebhardt and husband Lee of Pleasant Hill, IA; three grandchildren, Madelyn (11), Garret (10) and Layla (5). He is also survived by his brother, James Helm and wife Deb of Stanton, IA; and sisters, Sonia Jackson and husband Dave of Red Oak, IA and Monica Culver and husband Dick of Red Oak, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents Marcia and Leroy, his nephew Curtis Jackson and the love of his life Joan Parris. Tim did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family.

Graveside services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until leaving for the cemetery in procession from Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel.
