Birthplace: Resided In: Squaw Valley, CA Thomas Clyde Ingersoll, Jr. was born on July 26th, 1953 to Thomas Clyde Ingersoll, Sr. and Maxine Brees Ingersoll. He died of lung cancer on Dec. 29th, 2013 in Fresno, Ca. Tom attended Villisca Schools through the 8th grade. He attended high school in Red Oak where he graduated in 1971 and graduated from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs with a degree in Mechanics. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for 35 years. Tom moved to California in 1988 with his long time girlfriend Angie Stout. Tom and Angie were married in Las Vegas on May 10th, 1995. Tom used his pioneer spirit to prepare the land and build their homestead in the mountains near Squaw Valley, California where they lived. Tom had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, the Minnesota Vikings, and NASCAR. Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Thomas Ingersoll, Sr.; Stepmother: Roma Ingersoll; and Stepfather: David Richard Hall. Tom is survived by his wife: Angie of Squaw Valley, Ca.; mother: Maxine Hall of Atlantic, Ia.; brother: Bill Ingersoll and wife Brenda of Villisca, Ia.; sister: Wendy England and husband David of Mesa, Az.; step-sister: Jodie Cooper and husband Duane of Villisca, Ia.; step-sister: Vickie Sprague and husband Rick of Bedford, Ia.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A celebration of life for Tom Ingersoll, Jr. will be held 10 AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with a time visitation and lunch to follow at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at Arlington Cemetery near Villisca, Iowa. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak is assisting the family with local arrangements.
