Birthplace: El Paso, Texas Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Thomas L. Clark, age 60, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska after an illness with cancer. Thomas LeRoy Clark was born February 14, 1943 in El Paso, Texas the son of Mearle and Cleta (Gilbert) Clark. He graduated from Villisca High School in 1961 and began driving a truck over the road. Tom was united in marriage to Jeanne Abbott on December 31, 1975 in Red Oak, Iowa. Tom worked for the Johnsrud Transport Company for the past 19 years. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Tom was preceded in death by his father: Mearle Clark on August 4, 1968; and his mother: Cleta Nissen on May 14, 2003. Survivors include his wife: Jeanne Clark of Red Oak, Iowa; son: Tony Clark and his wife Jennifer of Red Oak, Iowa; daughter: Tammi Redd and her husband Brian of Coburg, Iowa; son: Shawn Enarson of Massena, Iowa; 9 grandchildren: Emily and Tarra Clark; Cassi, Jessi; and Emma Redd; and Ashley, Ryan, Sierra, and Devin Means; sister: Anita Smith of Red Oak, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 7-8 PM Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
