Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Terry Lee Shaver, age 44, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Terry Lee Shaver was born April 12, 1965 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Richard "Dick" and Bonnie "Juanita" (Helton) Shaver and the twin brother of Jerry Shaver. Terry lived most of his life in Red Oak, Iowa where at one time he worked for the City of Red Oak in the Cemetery Department. He was united in marriage to Brenda Hunt on October 5, 2000 in Clarinda, Iowa. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, car racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, hunting, and having good times with family and friends. Preceding him in death was his mother, Bonnie "Juanita" Shaver, on December 6, 1997. Survivors include his wife: Brenda Shaver of Red Oak, Iowa; step-son: Donnie Patterson and Brandy Edwards and their son, Jacob of Red Oak, Iowa; father: Dick Shaver of Red Oak, Iowa; sisters and brothers: Chris Norris and husband Mike of Red Oak, Iowa; Rick Shaver and wife Jody of Hepburn, Iowa; Patsy Williams; Tammy Cerven; Jerry Shaver and wife Judy; Tim Shaver; Wendi Latus and husband Rob; and Brian Shaver all of Red Oak, Iowa; mother-in-law: Betty Hunt of Red Oak, Iowa; sister-in-law: Nancy Lucky of Red Oak, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Warder officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
