Teresa Marlene Armstrong, age 59, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Azria Healthcare of Clarinda, Iowa. Teresa was born August 14, 1964, in Kensett, Arkansas, the daughter of Jimmie and Wanda (Ausburn) Armstrong. She was raised in Arkansas where she lived most of her life. Teresa moved to Red Oak in 2017 to be near her sister, Effie Martinez. She was a medical assistant for many years in Arkansas. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, collecting unicorns, crocheting, and spending time with her dogs and cats. She was always a great friend and loved her family dearly.

Preceding her in death were her mother: Wanda and her sister: Effie Martinez. Survivors include her daughter: Effie Sutter and husband Patrick of Roseville, CA; brother-in-law: Leo Martinez of Emerson, IA; nephews: David Martinez of Bellevue, NE and Leo Martinez and wife Pearlisa of Blue Hill, NE; and other relatives and friends.
