Steven Glen Miller, age 61, who farms west of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Steve was born August 25, 1961 in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Warren and Ruth (Alm) Miller. He graduated from Red Oak Community High School in 1981 and Iowa Western Community College with an associates degree in Aviation Mechanics. Steve worked for the Red Oak Municipal Airport for several years and started at Parker Hannifin in 1988. He retired from Parker Hannifin in 2012 and then farmed with his dad, which he did part time all of his life. Steve enjoyed golfing with friends at the Griswold golf course and spending time with his dog "Duke".

Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his sister: Tina Miller of Red Oak, Iowa; his beloved dog, Duke; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held 11 AM Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-4 PM Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association or Stratton United Methodist Church. Family and friends will gather by 10:30 AM on Monday at the First United Methodist Church to go to the cemetery in procession.
