Steve continued to farm with his son Dick and grandson Kyle. In addition, Steve and Delaine Slump started an agricultural services business, Slump and Steiner, which operated from 1968 to 1992. Steve loved spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks creating many family memories. He enjoyed fishing, snow skiing, bicycling and anything with his children and grandchildren. He was also involved in the community, serving on the Montgomery County National Bank Board, various Henderson community organizations and was a church deacon.
