Obituary

Birthplace: Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Steiner S. Honeyman, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Steiner Stuart Honeyman was born September 11, 1935 the son of Marvin and Dorothy (Steiner) Honeyman. He graduated from Wales Lincoln High School in 1952 and attended Commercial Extension School in Omaha. He later attended Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. In 1956 Steiner joined the Air Force and served for three years. He was united in marriage to Willicene Kunze on April 13, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas. They were stationed in Germany for 18 months and then Arizona. Upon his release from the military Steiner and Willicene moved back to Council Bluffs. Steiner worked for Tractor Supply and Airlite Plastics in Omaha as well as being Pastor of several churches over the years including Friendly Church, Miracle Temple, and Calvary Temple. He was also chaplain for the Salvation Army during this time. Steiner and Willicene moved to Red Oak in 2002. Preceding him in death were his father and 2 brothers: Gary and Dennis. Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Moninger of Omaha, Nebraska; wife: Willicene Honeyman of Red Oak, Iowa; son: Kevin LeBaugh of Hancock, Iowa; grandchildren: Crystal Danker of Red Oak, Iowa; Ashley LeBaugh and Beth LeBaugh both of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and great grandchildren: Michela LeBaugh, Dylan Welch, and Christian LeBaugh. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, September 16, 2005 at the Assembly of God Church in Red Oak with Rev. Craig Larsen officiating. Burial will be in the Emerson, Iowa Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 7-8 PM Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
