Birthplace: Riverton, Iowa Resided In: Omaha, Nebraska Stanton N. "Stan" Reddick, age 74, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha after an extended illness. Stanton Noel "Stan" Reddick was born September 12, 1936 in Riverton, Iowa the son of Raymond and Violet (Capps) Reddick. Stan was raised in Southwest Iowa graduating from Red Oak High School in 1955. He was united in marriage to Judy LeRette on August 10, 1956 in Red Oak, Iowa. Four children were born to this union: Kim, Lynn, Lori, and Jeff. Stan lived in Red Oak and Creston for a short time after marriage, but spent most of his life in Omaha where he operated a drywall contracting business. Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings: Jackie Watts, Twila Davis, Muriel Kissick, Rod Reddick, Larry Reddick, Gary Reddick, Muzette Carlson, and Wilda Wilson. Survivors include his children: Kim Roudabush and husband Brad; Lynn Nice and husband Ray; Lori Cooper and husband Mike all of Omaha; and Jeff Reddick and wife Cheri of Bennington, Nebraska; grandchildren: Nicholas Nice; Jonathan Nice and wife Kelly; Samantha Nice and fiancé Doug Thomsen all of Omaha; and Lauren and Olivia Reddick of Bennington; great grandson: Jacob Ray Nice of Omaha; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Pilecki officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. There will be open visitation at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established in Stan's name. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
