Sharon Kathleen Griffin, age 78, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at her home in Red Oak. Sharon was born November 12, 1946, in San Rafael, California, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Bartlett) Griffin. Sharon grew up in California and graduated from St. Helena, California and attended beauty school. Sharon lived many places during her married life and settled in Utah where she raised her family. She moved to Red Oak in 2015. Sharon was a beautician and homemaker. She was a member of the Latter-Day Saints in Shenandoah, Iowa. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting and traveling. She was a fan of Elvis impersonator Joseph Hall.

Preceding her in death were her parents. She is survived by her children: Erik Griffin and fiancé Amy Schlueter of Santa Rosa, California; Jennifer Carlisle of Red Oak, Iowa; Amy Christensen and husband Josh of Utah; Teresa Rasmussen and husband Chad of Utah; and Donald Griffin and wife Jennifer of Red Oak, Iowa; grandchildren: Katie Grimes and husband Ethan of Braddyville, Iowa; Crysta Telford and husband Eric of Utah; Kamia Taliulu of Utah; Matt Hale of Red Oak, Iowa; Alexie Taliulu, Austin Carlisle, Elijah Taliulu and Taylor Christensen all of Utah; Layne Griffin of St. Helena, California; MaKena Christensen of Utah; Eric Lindsey of Red Oak, Iowa; Ava Griffin of Anaheim, California; Katelyn Griffin of Red Oak, Iowa; Jakobi Rasmussen and Jaylee Rasmussen of Utah; great grandchildren: Zoey, Remington, Jasper, Emma, Stevie and Elliana; brother: Michael Griffin and wife Pam of St. Helena, California; nephews: Jeff Griffin and wife Lilly and Greg Griffin and wife Molly all of St. Helena, California; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa.
