Sally Jo Allgood, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Omaha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Sally was born December 18, 1952, in Nemaha County, Nebraska, the daughter of Tyler and Leudean (Crabtree) Allgood. She was raised all over the United States while her father was in the military. Sally graduated from Auburn Nebraska High School and later in life the Southwestern Community College where she studied computer programming. Sally came to Red Oak over 50 years ag. Over the years, she worked at several convenience stores, JD Café, CDS, and retired from Nishna Productions. Sally enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother: Eugene; and sister: Beth. Survivors include her daughter: Dawn Hale and friend Rob Bower of Papillion, Nebraska; grandchildren: Austin and Caitlyn Hale of Red Oak, Iowa; and Jeremy Dolph and Brittany Grey of Clarinda, Iowa; great grandchildren: Willow, Paxtyn, and Bowen; son-in-law: Trevor Hale of Red Oak, Iowa; sister: Susan Petersen of Auburn, Nebraska; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held starting 1 PM Sunday, January 7, 2023, at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge.
