Birthplace: Carbon, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Russel B. Franklin, age 90, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at a later date with burial to be in the Evergreen Cemetery. There are many survivors including brother-in-law: Fred Heuer of Red Oak, Iowa and niece: Diane Gregg and husband Mark of Red Oak, IA. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
