Birthplace: Cedar Rapids, Iowa Resided In: Shenandoah, Iowa Ronald Dale "Ronnie" Neemann, age 48, of Shenandoah, Iowa passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Ronnie was born February 10, 1966 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Fred and Patsy (Harron) Neemann. He was raised in Palmyra and Nebraska City, Nebraska. After high school, Ronnie started sandblasting and painting water towers. He was united in marriage to Carla Baucom on February 23, 1991 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Over the years, Ronnie had lived in Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Illinois. The past five years Ronnie and Carla have made Shenandoah, Iowa their home. Ronnie enjoys motorcycles, fishing, hunting, working on cars, and teasing his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife: Carla Neemann of Shenandoah, IA; children: Jesse Hammers and wife Jennifer of Shenandoah, IA; Bridget Flores of Nebraska City, NE; Gidget Hammers and husband Brad of College Springs, Iowa; Melissa Peres-Vidal and husband Santos Vidal of Omaha, NE; and Donna Marie Desorches and husband Danny of Talmadge, NE; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers: Mike Neemann of Cabot, AR; Jim Neemann and wife Retha of Palmyra, NE; and Richard Neemann and wife Deb of Lostant, IL; sisters; Sandy Hamlin of Nebraska City, NE and Brenda Sorinne and husband Victor of Nemaha, NE; mother-in-law: Berniece Baucom of Stanton, IA; sisters-in-law: Linda Davis and husband Richard of Shenandoah, IA; Jean Combs and husband Jim of Pacific Junction, IA; and Rosa Palmer and husband Eugene of Red Oak, IA; brother-in-law: Steve Baucom and wife Donella of Emerson, IA; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial luncheon will be held at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge on Sunday, January 18, 2015 starting at Noon. There will be a memorial service at 1:30 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services.
