Birthplace: Omaha, Nebraska Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Ronald Lee Lunsford, age 58, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Ronald was born July 3, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Harold and Roberta (Brewer) Lunsford. Over the years, he worked many different jobs. He was a jack of all trades. Most recently he worked in Housekeeping in hotels. Ronald was united in marriage to Rhonda Pinegar on March 23, 1998 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They moved to Red Oak to be near family in 2019. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and was a great mechanic who loved turning wrenches. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters: Mona Marsh; Beverly Foster; Joyce Stilen; and Linda Lunsford; and brother: Terry Lunsford. Survivors include his wife: Rhonda Lunsford of Red Oak, IA; children: Brandon Lunsford, Sr. of Red Oak, IA; Rebecca Lunsford of Red Oak, IA; Amanda Lunsford and friend Coltan Wasson of Red Oak, IA; and Ronald Lunsford of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren: Brandon Lunsford, Jr.; Cherokee Lunsford; Raymond Lunsford; and Hunter Lee Lunsford; brothers and sisters: Harold Lunsford and wife Birdie of Des Moines, IA; James Lunsford of Red Oak, IA; Kathy Albright of Sioux City, IA; Joan Newton of Council Bluffs, IA; Cindy Lunsford of Omaha, NE; and Roxanna Lee of Council Bluffs, IA; many nieces and nephews and his very special "Pit Bull" Sherrie Chapin of Red Oak, IA along with many other relatives and friends. There will be no services held at this time. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services.
