Birthplace: Omaha, Nebraska Resided In: Omaha formerly Red Oak, IA Rodney L. Telschow, age 45, of Omaha, Nebraska formerly of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Omaha after a battle with cancer. Rodney Lee Telschow was born December 16, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Robert L. Telschow, Sr. and Bonnie Rhamy Telschow. The family moved to Red Oak, Iowa in 1975 and Rodney attended Red Oak Community Schools. Rodney operated his own lawn mowing business and enjoyed doing yard work. He moved to Omaha where he was closer to his caregivers during his illness. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Linda Neidert. Survivors include his brothers and sisters: Robert Telschow, Jr and wife Charlene of Red Oak, IA; Cindy McAllister and husband Mike of Clarinda, IA; Sandy Johnson and husband Dale of Villisca, IA; Beverly Telschow of New Market, IA; Tim Weilenman and wife Teri of Sac City, IA; Mary Sue Jons of Sac City, IA; and Carla Currier of Everett, WA; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 AM Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
