Birthplace: Webster City, IA Resided In: Red Oak, IA Rodger Page, age 55, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Rodger William Page was born January 25, 1946 in Webster City, Iowa the son of Newton and M. Joyce (Hill) Page. He graduated from the Dumont, Iowa High School in 1964 and started work for the Hy Vee store in Fort Dodge, Iowa. On May 16, 1965 he was united in marriage to Joyce Freese at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Rodger and Joyce moved to Humboldt, Iowa where Rodger was a Produce Manager and was also an Assistant Store Manager. Rodger and Joyce then moved to Albany, Missouri where Rodger was the store manager. He was also the store manager in Tarkio, Missouri and Red Oak, Iowa where he retired in 1996. Rodger then went to work at United Group selling real estate. Most recently he has worked with Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Rodger was a member of the Red Oak Presbyterian Church where he had served as Trustee, was a Kiwanis Club Member and Past President, Former member of the Red Oak Industrial Foundation, the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce, involved with Ducks Unlimited, and was a member and Past President of the Red Oak Ambassadors. Preceding him in death was his father: Newton Page. Survivors include his wife: Joyce Page of Red Oak, Iowa; 2 sons: Greg Page of Omaha, Nebraska; and Eric Page and his wife Christina of Katy, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathan, Nashua, Garrett, and Daegan; Mother: Mary "Joyce" Page of Osceola, Nebraska; brother: Craig Page and his wife Roxanne of Osceola, Nebraska; Mother-in-law: Jane Freese of Mesa, Arizona; 2 brothers-in-law: Keith Freese and his wife Connie of Denver, Iowa; and Mark Freese and his wife Anya of Mesa, Arizona; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 18, 2002 at the Red Oak Presbyterian Church. Burial of the cremated remains in Evergreen Cemetery will take place at a time prior to the memorial service. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8 PM Thursday, January 17, 2002 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Presbyterian Church. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
