Birthplace: Leon, Iowa Resided In: Elliott, Iowa Roberta J. "Bobbi" Stoneking, age 47, of Elliott, Iowa passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak after an extended illness. Roberta Joan "Bobbi" Stoneking was born January 30, 1960 in Leon, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Judy (Tolly) Reynolds. The family lived in Leon until 1963 when they moved to Newton. The family moved to Elliott, Iowa in 1975. Bobbi graduated from the Griswold High School in 1978 and that same year was united in marriage to Mark Stoneking on October 21 in Elliott, Iowa. Bobbi and Mark have lived in Elliott all of their married life. Over the years Bobbi has worked for the Griswold Care Center, K-Mart, Nachurs Plant Food Company in the soil lab, Earl May for ten years until the store was closed, and most recently was working for Houser's Mother Earth Greenhouse. She was baptized at the Elliott Church of Christ and was currently a member of the Hope For Life Church in Red Oak. Bobbi was a volunteer at the Elliott Library, loved gardening, doing craft work including photo albums, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother: Judy Reynolds; father-in-law: Ralph Stoneking; brother-in-law: Kirk Stoneking; grandparents: Bob and Ivy Tolly and Robert Reynolds. Survivors include her husband: Mark Stoneking of Elliott, Iowa; daughter: Angie Burnison and husband Gary of Elliott, Iowa; son: Ryan Stoneking of Elliott, Iowa; grandsons: Tanner and Trevor Burnison of Elliott, Iowa; father: Richard Reynolds of Stanton, Iowa; sister: Sandy Johnson and husband Kevin of Red Oak, Iowa; brothers: Jim Reynolds and wife Debbie of Red Oak, Iowa and Todd Pennock and wife Courtney of Elliott, Iowa; grandmother: Phyllis Reynolds of Leon, Iowa; mother-in-law: Jean Stoneking of Elliott, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law: Kent Stoneking and friend Carla of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Amy Stoneking of Griswold, Iowa; Joy Koenig and husband Dale of Pleasantville, Iowa; Brian Stoneking and wife Cindy of Omaha, Nebraska; and Roger Stoneking and wife Tammi of Grant, Iowa; grandmother-in-law: Linnea Meeks of Des Moines, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Elliott Church of Christ in Elliott Iowa. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery at Elliott, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
