Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Robert Clarence Lukehart, age 73, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Robert was born April 28, 1942 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Glendon and Elnora (Milgrove) Lukehart. He was raised in Red Oak and at a young age started his working career with Wilson Concrete Company. He later worked for Milgrove Roofing and Garbage Service until forming his own roofing company called Lukehart and Sons Roofing. He was united in marriage to Shirley Schmidt in 1959 at Clarinda, Iowa. They lived all of their married life in Red Oak, Iowa. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife: Shirley on May 1, 2013; and sister: Carolyn Foreman. Survivors include his children: Rocky Lukehart and wife Tammy; Rodney Lukehart; Reggie Lukehart; Robby Lukehart; Casey Lukehart and wife Alyssa; Rusty Foreman; Rachel Lukehart and husband Dan; and Rainbow Miner and husband Jason all of Red Oak, Iowa; grandchildren: Zach Lukehart; Breanna Lukehart; Jeff Updike; Bruce Lukehart; Jessica Lukehart; Michaela Miner, Mickenzie Miner; and Kenny Randolph; great grandchildren: Emily, Jade, Damon, Vivian, and Peyton; sisters: Viola Rinehart of Red Oak, Iowa and Bonnie Gage and husband Dale of Emerson, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 AM Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial of the cremated remains will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family of Robert Lukehart. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
