Robert Joe Coddington, age 56, of Corning, Iowa, formerly of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa. Robert was born April 18, 1969, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Robert Joe Coddington, Sr. and Bonnie (Anderson) Coddington. He was raised in Stanton, Iowa, where he attended school. Robert worked many years at the Rainbow Café and most recently Primrose in Corning, Iowa. His hobbies included fishing, bowling, the special Olympics, and going to the casino.

Preceding him in death were his father: Robert Coddington, Sr. and stepfather: Marvin Hayes. Survivors include his mother: Bonnie Hayes of Onawa, IA; brother: Terry Coddington and wife Stephanie of Onawa, IA; sister: Tammy Ronfeldt and husband Steven of Red Oak, IA; nieces and nephews: Hannah Sederburg, Daize Pontow, Ben Coddington, Cody Coddington, Dana Coddington, Zackery Coddington, Steven Ronfeldt, Tyler Coddington, Teanna Coddington, and Zoey Ronfeldt; and other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, starting at 1 PM at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge with visitation and luncheon with the family to follow until 5 PM.
