Birthplace: Pascagoula, Mississippi Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Robert Al Clark, age 67, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence after a sudden illness. Robert Al Clark was born April 21, 1945 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was raised in Mississippi and the family later moved to Dallas, Texas. Robert served in the United States Army from 1967-1979 having done three tours of duty in Vietnam earning 2 Bronze Stars and 3 Purple Hearts. Robert moved to the Red Oak area 10 years ago to be close to his brother, Pat. He was a member of first Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters: Stacey White and husband Matthew of Baytown, Texas and Sandra Williams and husband Daniel of Baytown, Texas; step-daughter: Crystal Clark of Harrison, Arkansas; brothers: Richard Clark and wife Deb of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Pat Clark and wife Ramona of Elliott, Iowa; sisters: Dee Clark of Dallas, Texas and Georgeanne Cowick and husband Gary of Grand Prairie, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 10 AM Friday, July 13, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 2300 N. 8th Street, Red Oak, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services and the First Baptist Church is assisting the family with the memorial service.
