Robert Wade "Mr. Handsome" Abraham, age 61, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Robert was born January 23, 1964, in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of William Carl and Sandy Lee (Murray) Abraham.

Robert was united in marriage to Claudette Harris in 2008.

In his early years, Robert joined the Iowa Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. He also worked many odd jobs including as a steel erector and tree trimmer for many years until he was unable to work.

Robert loved to fish and have BBQ's as well as teasing his nieces and nephews every chance he could no matter whether they were little ones or older ones. He had a special nickname for them all.

He lived an exciting and adventurous life to say the least. Most of all, he loved his family. He was the best big brother.

Preceding him in death were his parents; Sandy and Frank Elliott and William Abraham; son: Matthew Miller; special brother: John Jones; and sister-in-law: Sarah Donaldson. Survivors include his wife: Claudette Abraham of Red Oak; brother: Bill Abraham of Red Oak; sisters: Mary Adams of Texas; Deb Abraham of Red Oak; and Alicia Royer and Kevin Mirts of Red Oak; nieces and nephews: Marshall and Malinda Adams of Red Oak; Jeremiah Adams of Texas; Mandy Palm of Iowa; Samantha Abraham of Council Bluffs, IA; Malissa and Jody Michaelsen of Red Oak; Willie and Ashley Abraham of Missouri; Savanna Abraham of Red Oak; and Jessica Abraham of Red Oak; many other nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Susie and Claude Harris of Essex, IA; brothers-in-law: Steve and Sandy Harris of Shenandoah; Joe Harris and Emma Joe and Garrette Harris of Essex, IA; and special friends: Lonnie Bissell and Jeff Shearer.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
