Ricky M. Rocha, age 67, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Ricky was born November 16, 1956, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Liberty and Carla Rocha. He was raised in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. He then attended culinary school and was a chef for many years. He cooked at Perkins, the Blue Ox, Goldmine Bar and Grill, and most recently Stadium 34. He was united in marriage to Kim Hanson Madsen on August 7, 2015, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. His hobbies include watching football and playing X-Box.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister: Brenda; and brother: Todd. Survivors include his wife: Kim Rocha of Red Oak, IA; children: Rocky Rocha and wife Janelle of Stanton, IA; Shawn Rocha of Oelwein, IA; and Sarah Madsen of Red Oak, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; sisters: Lori Rocha of Council Bluffs, IA and Sherry Rocha of Glenwood, IA; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, March 11, 2024, at Stadium 34 Restaurant in Red Oak, Iowa.
