Birthplace: Hastings, Nebraska Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Ren Hinshaw, age 69, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Ren Ricky Hinshaw was born June 6, 1948 in Hastings, Nebraska the son of George Asher and Maxine (Clopine) Hinshaw. He graduated from Maryville High School in 1966. Over the years, Ren worked in Pittsburgh as an executive head hunter until receiving his degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He then worked as a computer analyst for Northwest Missouri State University, University of Missouri and University of Louisville. Ren was united in marriage to Jackie Young in 1988 in Maryville, Missouri and one son was born to this union: Asher. He retired and moved to Red Oak in 2016. Ren was an avid pool player, loved riding his motorcycle, and watching college baseball. Ren was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Candy and Melody. Survivors include his son: Asher Hinshaw of Red Oak and other relatives and many friends. A celebration of life service will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Maryville, Missouri. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
