Birthplace: Council Bluffs, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Randall W. "Randy" Lewis, age 50, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Randall Wayne "Randy" Lewis was born July 5, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The family lived in Oakland, Iowa until 1960 when they moved to Emerson, Iowa. Randy attended Nishna Valley School and started farming in 1972. He became involved in the construction and renovation business in 1985. Randy was united in marriage to Debbie McKee on April 9, 1988 at the Hawthorne Church in rural Montgomery County, Iowa. They moved to Red Oak in 1995. Randy was a member of the Emerson Baptist Church and the Red Oak Elks Lodge where he was a trustee. Randy was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Louise Lewis in 1968 and his father-in-law: Richard McKee. Survivors include his wife: Debbie Lewis of Red Oak, Iowa; sons: Adam Lewis of Hilo, Hawaii; and Mike Lewis of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren: Taylor Lewis of Glenwood, Iowa and Jasmine Lewis of Hilo, Hawaii; Father: Hamilton Lewis and wife Edna of Oakland, Iowa; sister: Norma Bolton and husband Bernie of Oakland, Iowa; brothers: Marlin Lewis and wife Mary Kay of Audubon, Iowa; and Darrell Lewis and wife Bev of Hastings, Iowa; mother-in-law: Clara McKee of Emerson, Iowa; brother-in-law: Wade McKee and wife Angie of Emerson, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Jerry Dietz officiating. Burial will be in the Emerson, Iowa Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, August 14, 2006 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. A memorial fund is being established. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
