Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Randall Frederick "Randy" Pearson, age 64, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away in his sleep of natural causes on Thursday, July 16, 2015. Randy was born April 6, 1951 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Lester and Margaret (Hultman) Pearson. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1969 and Arizona State University in 1976. Randy lived in Arizona then Des Moines for many years before moving back to Red Oak in 2009. Randy was united in marriage to Paula Hart on September 29, 2001 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a very talented custom painter specializing in high end interior decorating. Randy was a member of the First Covenant Church and the Painters Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles, traveling to Sturgis 17 consecutive years. Preceding him in death were his brother: Tommy; wife Paula; parents; and brother-in-law: Bruce Carlson. Survivors include his step-children: Adam Hart and wife Terri of Gillette, WY and Maggie Seeliger and husband Tyson of Dubai, United Arab Emerates; grandchildren: Anabelle Seeliger, Brody Seeliger, and Paisley Hart; sister: Deanna Carlson of Minneapolis, MN; brother: Ted Pearson and wife Joyce of Red Oak, Iowa; sister: Bonnie Viner and husband Howard of Emerson, IA; sisters-in-law: Nancy Herrin and husband John of Indianapolis, IN; Amy Carmody and husband Larry Vaerewyck of Chesterton, IN; and Sarah Licata and husband Tom of Huntley, IL; brother-in-law: Stephen Rich and wife Sherrie of St. Louis, MO; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor Alan Dean officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family and a luncheon will be held after the burial at the First Covenant Church. Memorials are suggested to the First Covenant Church or the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
