Birthplace: Bedford, Iowa Resided In: Lexington, Kentucky Ramona L. Halbert, 80, widow of John Bernard Halbert, Sr., died on Jan. 3, 2010. Born in Bedford, Iowa to the late Albert and Idros Campbell, she made her home in Lexington, Kentucky after retirement. In addition to her beloved husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Albert Campbell, Ailee Ratekin, and Sally Angel. She is survived by her children, John Bernard Halbert, Jr. (Tammy), Birmingham, AL and Tara Halbert, Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Hannah, Autumn, Ryan, and Grace Halbert, John Bernard Halbert III, Laura and Scott Frnka, and Adam and Robin Stichler; 7 great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Storm Mayo. Graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa.
