Rachelle Diane York, age 65, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at her home. Rachelle was born May 7, 1958, the daughter of Robert and Sharen (Cable) Artlip. She was raised in Elliott, Iowa, and graduated from Griswold High School in 1976. She later received her RN Degree and was an in-home health care provider. Rachelle was united in marriage to Randal Ireland and one daughter was born to this union: Bethany. Rachelle enjoyed reading and loved cats.

Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her daughter: Bethany Nichols and husband Brett of Lewis, Iowa; granddaughter: Ella-Lee Nichols of Lewis, Iowa; grandson: Gavin Nichols of Atlantic, Iowa; sister: Amy Artlip of Atlantic, Iowa; niece: Brooke Draeger and husband Ryan of Atlantic, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery at Elliott, Iowa.
