Birthplace: Turtle Lake, North Dakota Resided In: Emerson, Iowa Paul Richard Jording, age 79, of Emerson, Iowa, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born October 4, 1938 in Turtle Lake, North Dakota the son of Edwin and Evelyn (Redenzel) Jording. Paul graduated from the Beemer, Nebraska High School and lived many places throughout the years. He served in the United States Navy and was a ship builder by trade. Paul moved to Emerson, Iowa in 2006. He was a humble man dedicated to raising his children with a good Christian foundation and was a wonderful father. Survivors include his children: Susan Grillion of Petersburg, VA; Sarah Jording of Emerson, IA; Kim Hollis of Philomath, OR; and Mark Jording of Tabor, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and many friends. Per Paul's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Paul's sister Linda Jording, 1200 Jefferson St, Ft Atkinson WI 53538 for her health care needs. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
