Birthplace: Shenandoah, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Patricia Sue Shannon, age 85, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society. Patricia was born October 30, 1935 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph Wesley and Clara Bell (Christie) Hanscom. She lived in Red Oak all of her life. Over the years she worked as a waitress, cleaned houses, worked at Jessen's Clothing Store, Union Carbide and CDS. She had a knack for style and loved decorating her home with a passion. She also loved tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death be her parents; brother: Robert Hanscom; and daughter: Cindy Cassidy. Survivors include her son: Tom Bentley of Red Oak, IA; daughter: Vicki Huber of Red Oak, IA; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. There will be no services held at this time. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
