Birthplace: Thayer, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Patricia Louise "Pat" Lamb age 61 of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Thursday, June 20, 2002 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Pat Lamb was born June 11, 1941 in rural Thayer, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn Jones, Sr. and Leota (Hainline) Jones. She graduated from Thayer High School and was united in marriage to Nathan "Nate" Lamb on August 9, 1958 in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. Nate and Pat lived in Amazonia, Mo after they were married and moved to Elliott, Iowa in 1970 were Pat operated the Elliott Café. Pat and Nate moved to Red Oak in 1984. She worked for Parker-Hannifin for 26 years having perfect attendance for 24 years. Pat was a member of the First Christian Church in Red Oak, PTA and Ty Beanie Club, and was a Wiebelow Troop Leader. She loved ceramics and had a ceramics shop in Red Oak. Pat enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies, birds, dolls and was a Pittsburg Steelers fan. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, a son: Nathan Lamb, Jr. in 1998 and a brother Gayle Jones. She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Nathan Lamb, Sr. of Red Oak, Iowa; two daughters: Garla Fuller and her husband Mike of Savannah, Missouri; Alana Stone and her husband James of Red Oak; son: Rocky Lamb and his wife Marilynof Morrowville, Kansas; father: Glenn Jones, Sr. and his wife Pearl of Wichita, Kansas; three brothers: Glenn Jones and his wife Hazel of Clio, Iowa; Glenn Jones, Jr., of Terra Haute, Indiana; and Curtis Jones of Wichita, Kansas; 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, June 24, 2002 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lyn Green officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2002 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Amytrophichal Lateral Sclerisis Foundation. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
