Birthplace: Billings, Montana Resided In: Sidney, Iowa Nolan Talmadge, age 69, of Sidney, Iowa formerly of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003 at the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Nolan Frank Talmadge was born December 14, 1933 in Billings, Montana the son of Nolan E. and Berniece (Jones) Talmadge. He was a lifelong resident of Southwest, Iowa. He lived at the Powell School and the Montgomery County Home for many years. When the county home closed he lived at Bud and Betty Core's home until moving to Nishna Productions and most recently the Sidney Health Center in Sidney, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Berniece Talmadge in 1977; and his father: Nolan E. Talmadge in 1984. Survivors include one aunt and five cousins. Graveside Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Dr. George Hooper officiating. There will be open visitation at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
