Birthplace: Omaha, Nebraska Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Nicole L. Jipsen, age 21, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 in Sterling, Colorado. Nicole Leah Jipsen was born November 26, 1984 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Gary and Amy (Anderson) Jipsen. She was raised in Red Oak and Murray, Nebraska graduating from the Conestoga High School in Murray, Nebraska. She attended the Colorado School of the Mines for one year. Nicole was currently living in Red Oak working at Mediacom. Survivors include her mother: Amy Jipsen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Father Gary Jipsen and special friend Darnett Dukes of Red Oak, Iowa; brother: Jared Jipsen of Red Oak, Iowa; sister: Kelli Jipsen of Red Oak, Iowa; maternal grandparents: Merlin and Effa Anderson of Red Oak, Iowa; paternal grandparents: Dwaine Jipsen of Emerson, Iowa; and Ada Jipsen of Emerson, Iowa; many aunts, uncles, cousins; Darnett's children: Dalton, Jeremy, Chris, and Mallory; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the Gomer Cemetery at Wales, Iowa. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at the Gomer Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Colorado School of the Mines. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
