Morton Vincent Pointon, II, age 67, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Morton was born June 25, 1956, in Schenectady, New York, the son of Morton Vincent and Gladys (Gray) Pointon. He graduated from Oppenheim Ephratah High School and worked as a Machinist for many years. He was united in marriage to Debra Anderson Reinecker on July 23, 2005, in Lindsborg, Kansas. They moved to Red Oak, Iowa in 2018 to be near their son who lives in Glenwood, Iowa. Morton loved to exercise and work out and was an avid Denver Broncos and Atlanta Braves fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife: Debra of Red Oak; children: Morton V. Pointon III and wife Cassandra of Dolgeville, NY; Michael Pointon and wife Kimmie of Dolgeville, NY; Nicholas Reinecker and wife Katy of Inman, KS; Zachary Reinecker and wife Kathrine of Glenwood, IA; and Jonathan Reinecker of Inman, KS; grandchildren: Coleson Lee Reinecker; Nathan Scott Reinecker; Lakelyn Reinecker; and Anderson Reinecker; sisters: Carol Begeal and husband Ralph of Bath, NY and Krystal Christensen of Corpus Christie, TX; brothers-in-law: Shawn Anderson and wife Diane of Fredonia, WI; Roger Anderson and wife Jane of Lindsborg, KS; and Steven Anderson and wife Chena of Ruckersville, VA; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
