Birthplace: Sioux City, Iowa Resided In: Elliott, Iowa Ramona Jean "Mona" Clark, age 57, of Elliott, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center in Red Oak. Mona was born August 12, 1962 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Dale and Shirley (Deal) Young. She was raised in the Omaha area and was united in marriage to Patrick Clark. They moved to the Red Oak and Elliott area 15 years ago. Over the years, Mona worked at Marias Mexican Restaurant in Omaha, Head Start, and did in home daycare. She enjoyed collecting unicorns, cooking and baking. Preceding her in death were her parents; siblings: Kerry Young, Dale Young, and Jess Young; nephew: Josh Young; and niece: Megan Gore. Survivors include her husband: Patrick Clark; children: Valerie Garner and husband Jeremy of Silver City, IA and Chad Clark of Elliott, IA; grandchildren: Drake Clark, Shyla Clark, Jaderian Clark; Remy Garner; and Hallie Willingham; sister: Janet Young and husband David Wells of Fremont, NE; and many other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Silver City United Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow at the Silver City Community Center. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel assisted the family with cremation services.
