Birthplace: Nebraska City, NE Resided In: Red Oak, IA Mary M. Webering, age 88, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Mary Margaret Webering was born July 21, 1922 in Nebraska City, Nebraska the daughter of Albert and Anna (Konert) Dieter. She graduated from St. Bernard's Academy in Nebraska City in 1939. She took one year of business school in Indiana and later moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she met Arnold Webering. They were married June 19, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in Nebraska City for several years before moving to Red Oak in 1952 where they owned and operated the Finest Cleaners until Arnold passed away in 1971. Mary became a full time homemaker raising three children. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, at one time in Nebraska City and now in Red Oak, Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, working cross word puzzles, reading, cleaning, doing laundry, and most of all spending time with her family. Mary always kept current with the news and all the world events. Survivors include her children: Jim Webering and wife Susie of Glenwood, IA; Mary Perkins of Red Oak, IA; and Angela Lukavsky and husband Jim of Nixa, MO; grandchildren: Virginia Gue and husband Todd of Council Bluffs, IA; Paul Webering of Chicago, IL; Thomas Webering of Iowa City, IA; Christine Webering of Iowa City, IA; Jason Holland of Bellevue, NE; Jared Holland of Omaha, NE; Shannon Perkins of Red Oak, IA; Mary Watson and husband Josh of Galena, MO; Christopher Lukavsky and wife Trista of Nixa, MO; David Lukavsky and fiancé Meghan Ward of Omaha, NE; Michelle Lukavsky of Nixa, MO; and Anna Lukavsky of Nixa, MO; great grandchildren: Ava, Jude, and Lawrence; sister-in-law: Dorothy Webering of Nebraska City, NE; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Nebraska City. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak, Iowa is in charge of arrangements
