Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Maryville, Missouri Mary Margaret Breedlove, age 74, of Maryville Missouri, passed away August 17th, 2013 at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Mary Margaret Breedlove was born December 9, 1938 in Red Oak, Iowa. She was the daughter of Orrin and Norma Carmichael. She graduated from Red Oak High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" R. Breedlove on December 9th, 1956 at the First Christian Church in Red Oak, Iowa. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir with her husband, mother, and father. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, card making, and being a grandmother of 5 active grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Orrin and Norma Carmichael. Survivors include her husband of over 56 years: Charles Breedlove of Maryville, Missouri; sons: Tim Breedlove and Gerald Ortego of Kansas City, Missouri; Tom Breedlove and wife Robin of Omaha, Nebraska; Todd Breedlove and wife Angela of Overland Park, Kansas; and daughter: Tresa Brummer and husband Wyatt of Prairie Village, Kansas; 5 grandchildren: Amanda, Aidan, Addison, Nolen, and Colton; brother Bill Carmichael and wife Karen of Omro, Wisconsin; as well as many loved nieces and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 24th, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa. There will be a time of lunch and fellowship at the First Christian Church following the interment service.. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. www.phassociation.org Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
