Birthplace: Hatfield, MO Resided In: Red Oak, IA Louise Jones, age 82, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Nebraska. Neva Louise Jones was born November 30, 1931 in Hatfield, Missouri the daughter of Roy Lee and Elsie Effie (Pottorff) Tull. The family moved to Iowa in 1944. At a young age, Louise worked for Russ' Lunch on Reed Street and also Hotel Johnson. She was united in marriage to Wallace K. Jones on April 27, 1948 in Red Oak, Iowa. She worked for Union Carbide from 1949-1953, then Jones Garbage Hauling until 1965. Wally and Louise lived in Branson, Missouri for a couple of years then moved back to Iowa. Louise worked for 35 years as a cook and waitress spending the most time at Rainbow Cafe retiring in 1993. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her sister: Dorothy Bowman; and brothers: Ennis and Olin Tull. Survivors include her husband Wally Jones of Red Oak, IA; sons: Mike Jones and wife Toni of Papillion, NE and Pat Jones and significant other: Jackie Johnson of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Julie Hammons and husband Scott of Kansas City, KS; Laela Williams and husband Kerry of Bellevue, NE; Jonah Jones and wife Ann of Anita, IA; Shawn Jones of Clearwater, FL; Abigail Jones of Papillion, NE; Jamison Jones of Omaha, NE; Katherin Clerk and husband Ross of Omaha, NE and Breanna Jones of Papillion, NE; great grandchildren: Brett and Tiana Hammons, Curtis and Jayden Hilding; Justus Jones, and Dalton Reed; sister: Geraldine Weese of Albany, MO; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Walters officiating. There will be open visitation from 10 AM - 6 PM on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family of Louise Jones. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
