Birthplace: Corning, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Lonnie Eugene Burch, age 58, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away, Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Red Oak Healthcare Community. Lonnie was born July 9, 1956 in Corning, Iowa, the son of Roland and Edna (Romer) Burch. He was raised in the Lenox area. Before moving to Red Oak, Lonnie lived in the Clarinda and Emerson areas. He was united in marriage to Connie England in 1996 in Las Vegas, NV. Lonnie worked for RO Mech, Red Oak Die Cast for 22 years and had currently been working for American Hydraulics. He enjoyed motorcycles, rodeos, bull riding, and working. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother: Leland Burch; and brother-in-law: Dale England. Survivors include his wife: Connnie Burch of Red Oak; children: David Homan and wife Nichole of LaVista, NE; Jake Homan and wife Brittany of Villisca, IA; and Damian Govig; grandchildren: Shilo Major of Creston, IA; Marissa Homan, Xavier Yarges, Logan Yarges, and Ayden Homan all of LaVista, NE; Lily Govig of Columbus, NE; and Joe Homan of Villisca, IA; sisters: Peggy VanSyoc and husband Tom of Sidney, IA; Carla Barker of Red Oak, IA; and Kim Lee of Tarkio, MO; mother-in-law: Joyce England of Las Animas, CO; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sheila Burns and husband Willie of Bolivar, MO; Linda England of Wichita, KS; Stanley England of Las Animas, CO; Dona England of Las Animas, CO; Michael England and wife Terri of Pueblo, CO; Brian England and wife Paddy of Las Animas, CO; Andrew England of Colorado Springs, CO; and Tracey Pryor of Steam Boat Springs, CO; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation with the family will be held from 7-8 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
