Birthplace: Garfield, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Lois M. Kindig, age 92 of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak, Iowa. Lois Maxine (Zuber) Kindig was born May 16, 1929, the daughter of Roy and Rosie (O'Dell) Zuber. Lois grew up in Red Oak, Iowa. On Christmas Day, 1947, Lois married Earl Kindig and together they had three children: Richard, Diane and Susan. Lois took great pride in being a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to car races with her husband and helping him finish woodworking projects. She also enjoyed making many types of crafts. Lois loved animals and people. She never met a stranger and her laughter was always contagious. She had a very loving and caring heart and took care of others for her entire life. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Richard Kindig and wife Cathy of Tupelo, Oklahoma; Diane Collins and husband James of Red Oak, Iowa and Susan Jenkins and husband William of Clarksville, Arkansas; grandchildren: Randy Collins of Phoenix, Arizona and Wendy Kremer and husband Clay of Scranton, Arkansas; great grandchildren: Holly Doster and husband Clay of Mayflower, Arkansas; Garrett Woodward of Little Rock, Arkansas; Weston Woodward of Russellville, Arkansas; Kacie Kasper of Dallas, Texas and Elijah Kremer and William Kremer of Scranton, Arkansas; along with other relatives and many friends. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 28, 2021, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa. Family and friends will gather at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel by 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
