Lois Jean Jamison, age 73, of Elliott, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the Griswold Care Center in Griswold, Iowa. Lois was born February 8, 1950, in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Miles M. and Francis (Wolf) Jamison. Lois grew up on the family acreage north of Elliott with her parents and sisters, Ruth and Betty. She attended school in Elliott and Griswold. Lois graduated from Griswold High School in 1970. After graduation, Lois worked in Atlantic for four years. Over the years, she worked a variety of jobs. Lois's favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially being with her sisters. She loved her cats. She was active in both churches in Elliott. She was part of community projects and always willing to lend a hand.

Preceding Lois in death were her parents, Miles and Francis Jamison and a cousin Jerry Jamison. Survivors include her sisters: Ruth Jamison of Elliott, Iowa and Betty Jamison of Melcher, Iowa; nephew: Adam Lankford of Melcher, Iowa; cousins: Ramona Petty of Clarinda, Iowa; Alice Rightsell of Red Oak, Iowa; Denny Jamison of Lewis, Iowa; Chuck Jamison and wife Judy of Omaha, Nebraska; and Lisa Jamison of Elliott, Iowa and other relatives and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Evergreen Cemetery at Red Oak, Iowa.

Memorials are suggested to the Elliott Church of Christ or the Elliott United Methodist Church.
