Birthplace: Estherville, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Linda Lou Kluver, age 69, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Linda was born October 4, 1951, in Estherville, Iowa, the daughter of Dr. Frederick and Isabelle (Kelly) Fish. The family moved to Oregon for a short time before moving back to Creston, Iowa. The family moved to Red Oak, Iowa, when Linda was in the eighth grade. She graduated from Red Oak Community High School in the class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Stan Pfeiffer on September 13, 1969, and four children were born to this union: Tim, Amy, Tom, and Laura. She was a homemaker and did in home babysitting for many years. She married the love of her life, Charles Kluver, on June 8, 2002 in Taylor County, Iowa and they made their home in Red Oak. Linda was a member of the Faith Community Church. She had a personal relationship with Jesus, which was evident in how she loved others, including perfect strangers. She loved connecting with all of God's creation and spent much of her life in nature, tending her many plants, watching birds, and even befriending a squirrel in her front yard! Linda was known for cracking jokes and keeping positive even in the toughest moments of life. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and singing around the campfire, even though she claimed she could not carry a tune in a bucket. Linda truly treasured spending time with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Charles Kluver on March 8, 2013. Survivors include her children: Tim Pfeiffer and wife Leigh of Red Oak, IA; Amy Gilbride and husband Ryan of Lincoln, NE; Tom Pfeiffer and wife Courtney of Omaha, NE; and Laura LaPrell and husband Matt of Red Oak, IA; step-son: Joshua Kluver of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Jake Snow and wife Brandi of Stanton, IA; Jessie Bumsted and husband Cole of Oceanside, California; Julia Pfeiffer and friend Michael McDonald of Imogene, IA; Phil Pfeiffer and friend Maranda Myers of Red Oak, IA; Katie Gilbride and John Gilbride of Lincoln, NE; and Anna LaPrell and Noah LaPrell of Red Oak, IA; step-granddaughter: Morgan Kluver of Phoenix, AZ; great grandchildren: Jayden, Deacon, Annaleigh, Lane, Clarke, Leon, and one more on the way; brothers and sisters: Paul Fish and wife Kay of Brownville, NE; Lori Ellis and husband Roy of Barnett, MO; Mark Fish and wife Diane of Villisca, IA; Joel Fish and wife Marcia of Hoyt, KS; Kevin Fish of Red Oak, IA; Lois Hall of Council Bluffs, IA; Bill Fish and wife Debbie of Carroll, IA; Lisa Shawgo and husband Kevin of Nevada, IA; and Dale Fish and wife Wendy of Red Oak, IA; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many beloved friends. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
