Birthplace: Creston, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Linda Hardy, age 62, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2003 at the Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska after a sudden illness. Linda Lee Hardy was born December 19, 1940 in Creston, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Marvick) French. She was raised in southwest Iowa and graduated from the Villisca High School in 1958. She has lived most of her life in southwest Iowa and many years in Red Oak. Linda worked as a dispatcher for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and was involved in the family business for many years and also enjoyed the time she had at home to raise her children. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Past President of the Red Oak Eagles Lodge, Bloodmobile Volunteer, and a Hospice Volunteer for many years. A time of celebration and remembrance of Linda is to be held at 5:30 PM Thursday, October 9, 2003 at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
