Birthplace: Grassy Butte, ND Resided In: Sioux City, Iowa Lillie J. Miller, of Sioux City, Iowa formerly Salt Lake City, Utah and Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Lillie Jean Miller was born in Grassy Butte, North Dakota, the daughter of John and Zena (Zewick) Stashuk. She was raised in North Dakota. Lillie lived in many different places until she settled in Atlantic, Iowa. She was united in marriage to William Rock Miller in 1986 and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. They owned and operated a company that made scale models of water pollution treatment plants and presented them at trade shows throughout the United States. Lillie loved to travel, golf, watch birds, and garden. She also enjoyed her time at the Senior Center when she lived in Salt Lake City. Survivors include her daughter: Lisa Jamison and husband Jerry of Elliott, Iowa; son: Dee Volk of Atlantic, Iowa; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, 4 sisters; 4 half brothers; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Hillside Cemetery in Elliott, Iowa. There will be visitation with the family from 12:30-1:30 PM Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak before going to the cemetery in procession for the service. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.
