Birthplace: Bucklin, Missouri Resided In: Recently Red Oak, Iowa Funeral services for Lillie J. Anderson, age 90, recently of Red Oak, Iowa, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the Grace Baptist Church in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Lillie died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Martha Anderson of Moweaqua, Illinois. Lillie Josephine Anderson was born August 20, 1917 in Bucklin, Missouri the daughter of Carl and Augusta (Swanson) Anderson. She graduated from Wales Lincoln High School in Wales, Iowa in 1936 and was united in marriage to W. LaRoy Anderson on August 27, 1943 near Villisca, Iowa. She faithfully served with her husband for more than 40 years as he pastored churches in various locations throughout Iowa. The couple moved to Red Oak in 1980 and continued interim pastoral ministries in several nearby churches. Lillie was particularly involved in the children's and women's ministries of the churches they served. LaRoy preceded her in death on March 15, 1995, and she continued living in Red Oak, faithfully attending Grace Baptist Church. In 2005, Lillie moved to the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Moweaqua, Illinois, where she resided until her death. Lillie is survived by three daughters: Ramona Samples and husband, Don, of Clarksville, Georgia; Judy Jueckstock and husband, John, of Taylors, South Carolina; and Vivian Sisario and husband, Frank, of Jacksonville, Florida; three sons: David and wife, Martha, of Moweaqua, Illinois; Daniel and wife, Rosalie, of Bradley, West Virginia; and Philip and wife, Janna, of Salem, Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother: Hugo Anderson and wife Neva of Villisca, Iowa; many extended family members, and a host of friends. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.
