Leanna Miner, Age 60, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at her home. Leanna was born August 3, 1964, in Morganville, KY, the daughter of Floyd and Karen (Mattingly) Turner. The family moved to Sarpy County, Nebraska, where Leanna worked several different jobs. Leanna was married to John E. Miner Jr. in Papillion Nebraska in 1983. The family moved to Elliott until John's passing in 2014 when Leanna moved to Red Oak. Over the years, she worked several different jobs including Pizza Ranch, Dollar General, and the Co-op. Leanna had a green thumb and loved to garden, she loved animals especially her dog, Jake. Leanna never knew a stranger and loved all people.

Preceding her in death was her father: Floyd Turner; husband: John; and infant son: Brian Thomas Turner. Survivors include her mother: Karen Turner of Plattsmouth, NE; daughter: Victoria Miner of Spirit Lake, IA; sisters: Lori Hoesing (Michael) of Sioux City, IA; Lisa Muhlbauer of Ocean Springs, MS; Kelly Turner of Plattsmouth, NE; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth McPeek (Michael) of Murray, NE; Christopher Barton of Papillion, NE; Jessica Sayre (TJ) of Moss Pt, MS; Brett Muhlbauer (Lisa) of Nehawka, NE; Samantha Wilson (TJ) of Hurley, MS; Jackie Magnussen (Josh) of Glenwood, IA; Shannon Nevitt of Fremont, NE; Jake Miner (Molly) of Red Oak, IA; Justin Miner (Lexi) of Emerson, IA; Jaimee Franzen (Cody) of Emerson, IA; Michaela Miner of Red Oak, IA; Mickenzie Miner of Red Oak, IA; Jason Miner Jr. of Red Oak, IA; as well as many great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth Nebraska.
