Obituary

Birthplace: Khonkaen, Thailand Resided In: Council Bluffs, Iowa Kittipong Pilachai, age 43, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his home. Kittipong Pilachai was born February 27, 1969 in Khonkaen, Thailand the son of Kriang Sak and Kumpong (Kawjoonpol) Pilachai. He moved to the United States in 1979 living in many different cities throughout the country. He graduated from the Mareno Valley High School in California in 1988. He worked for a short time for Disney Land and moved to Iowa in 1994 where he worked at the Pella Corporation for a year. Kittipong then moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa where he worked for Griffin Pipe Products. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with mechanical and electronic projects. Kittipong was preceded in death by his grandparents: Tee and Sing Kawjoonpol. Survivors include his children: Angel, Arthur, Aurora, and Asia Pilachai of Oakland, Iowa; parents: Michael and Kumpong Waymire of Hastings, Iowa; brothers: Jeffrey Waymire and wife Tina of Kansas City, Kansas and Jeremy Waymire and wife Chrystal of Omaha, Nebraska; sister: Tina Mischke and husband Marty of Omaha, Nebraska; grandparents: Eugene and Mary Waymire of Hastings, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor Celeste Waymire officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later time at the North Grove Cemetery, rural Hastings, Iowa. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel, Red Oak, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
