Obituary

Birthplace: Council Bluffs, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Kevin Eugene LeBaugh, age 60, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Kevin was born July 2, 1960 and was raised in Council Bluffs by his parents, Steiner and Willicene (Kunze) Honeyman. Kevin spent many years as a security guard for many different businesses including Ameristar and Mall of The Bluffs where he spent most of his time. Kevin was united in marriage to Michele Meyer in 1978 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Three daughters were born of this union: Crystal, Ashley, and Beth. Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor and even attended clown school. He also enjoyed making DVD's of anything and everything. He moved to Red Oak in 2012 to be near family and currently made his home with his daughter, Crystal. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother: Larry Dorne. Survivors include his three daughters: Crystal Armbrust of Red Oak; Ashley LeBaugh of Red Oak; and Beth LeBaugh and companion Josh Lundberg of Red Oak; grandchildren: Destiny, Michela, Dylan, Christian, and Michele; great grandchild: Addison; brother: Brad Dorne of California; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Emerson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
