Kevin Dean Alm, age 64, of Nyman, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, in Red Oak, Iowa. Kevin was born May 17, 1959, in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Gustaf and Ruth Marie (Johnson) Alm. He graduated from Essex High School in 1977 and had lived all of his life on the family farm near Nyman, Iowa. Kevin was a member of Fremont Lutheran Church at Nyman where he was baptized. He enjoyed Astronomy, working with electronics, and collecting things. He was known to build his own computers.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers: Rod and Craig Alm. Survivors include his sister: Joyce Alm-Nichols of Red Oak, Iowa; nephews: Benjamin Nichols and wife Tes of Kansas City, Missouri and Andrew Nichols and April Vaughn of Sherman, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Fremont Lutheran Church at Nyman, Iowa. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Nyman.
